Frequently asked questions

Practical answers,before we begin.

Understand who we support, what we build, and how our export-first experience shapes the work.

The essentials, in one place.

Business fitDo you provide services only to exporters?

Our primary focus is export-oriented businesses and global trade operations. A related business may still be a fit where the requirement involves export workflows, cross-border operations, trade data, or systems used by exporter teams.

ServicesDo you offer custom software solutions?

Yes. We can design custom applications, internal tools, dashboards, workflows, and integrations around agreed exporter processes. Discovery determines whether custom development, configuration, integration, or process improvement is the right approach.

Business fitDo you work with small exporters?

Yes. MSMEs and growing exporters can begin with one high-value process instead of a large transformation programme. Scope, architecture, and delivery stages should still be proportionate to the business risk and intended growth.

CompanySince when has Ethereal Exim been operating?

The export-domain operating experience behind Ethereal Exim Technologies began in 2021. Today, that practical context guides our automation, software, data, support, and advisory work for exporters.

DeliveryHow does an engagement begin?

It begins with business context and a defined operating problem. We then clarify users, workflow, systems, data, constraints, decision owners, and the desired outcome before confirming a scope or technical approach.

DeliveryHow long does implementation take?

There is no responsible standard timeline without a defined scope. Duration depends on process complexity, integrations, data readiness, decision speed, security requirements, testing, and client availability. A proposed sequence and milestones are documented after discovery.

CommercialHow is pricing decided?

Pricing depends on the agreed deliverables, delivery model, complexity, dependencies, support expectations, and risk. Commercial terms are provided in a separate proposal; this website does not publish a one-size-fits-all price list.

IntegrationCan you connect with our existing systems?

Potentially, yes. Integration feasibility depends on available APIs or data interfaces, access, documentation, data quality, licensing, vendor restrictions, and security. These dependencies are assessed before the integration is committed.

Data & securityDo you need access to live export data during discovery?

Not by default. Early discovery should use process descriptions, field lists, masked examples, or synthetic data where practical. Any need for sensitive or production access must have a clear purpose, approved channel, minimum scope, and defined responsibility.

Data & securityDo you hold a security certification?

No certification is claimed on this website. Security requirements and evidence are discussed against the actual solution, data, hosting, access, and support scope. Any certification or insurance evidence is provided only if it exists and is verified for the relevant entity and date.

SupportWhat happens after the software goes live?

The engagement may include launch stabilization, maintenance, managed support, or separately assessed changes. Supported systems, channels, hours, priorities, responsibilities, and service targets must be defined in the relevant agreement.

Compliance scopeDo your tools guarantee export or regulatory compliance?

No. Technology can support structured data, checks, records, and review readiness, but it cannot replace authorized legal, customs, tax, banking, inspection, or regulatory decisions. The exporter remains responsible for current requirements and qualified advice.

Client responsibilityWhat does the client need to provide?

Typical responsibilities include a business sponsor, process owners, timely decisions, access to relevant information and systems, test participation, acceptance ownership, and authorized approvals. Exact responsibilities are documented for the engagement.

ConfidentialityCan we sign an NDA before sharing detailed information?

Yes, where appropriate. Initial contact should remain high-level. A suitable NDA or controlled diligence channel can be established before non-public business, technical, security, or client information is exchanged.

Your process will be more specific than any FAQ.
